Maryam Jameel is a Human Resources professional with more than a decade of experience supporting organisations across different sectors in Bahrain. As Human Resources Manager at the Royal University for Women, she introduced a competency-based appraisal system that connects day-to-day performance with the university’s wider strategic goals, streamlined HR procedures, and enhanced the staff recruitment and onboarding processes.
Maryam is CIPD certified and has hands-on experience across the full employee journey, from recruitment and onboarding to training and performance management. Her earlier roles with Solidarity Bahrain B.S.C., Khaleeji Bank, and other organisations gave her a strong foundation in developing HR policies and procedures, designing training programmes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies. She is known for her strong leadership style and her ability to mentor HR teams and creating supportive and collaborative workplaces that drive organisational excellence.
